Who would have thought that laissez-faire is not the
ultimate end-type of economic liberty and prosperity?
There is something MORE THAN LAISSEZ-FAIRE and that
is because there is absolutely no moral authority for human intervention into
the economy, and yet the potential of the economy is tremendous and very much
connected to the human spirit!
Laissez-faire is not merely a philosophical proposition as it is understood to be within the laissez-faire doctrine. One of the steps that rescues
laissez-faire from a mere argument is the adoption of the subjectivist
methodology. This causes the empiricists to show their true colors and leave
the laissez-faire camp.
The
next step recognizes the significance of the concept that humans are
subjective. Each human being is created unique and is created in the image of
God. The names and attributes of God are inherent to some degree in every human
being and the subjective expression that becomes manifest in human action is
all a part of the human reality and is part of economic science! This causes
the atheists to dig in their heels and try to hold back economic science from
advancing along these lines.
Divine economy theory is ‘cutting edge’ economic
science that will enter into the history of economic thought in the future,
when looking back in the future. The divine economy theory is purely scientific without
denying the most essential aspect of the human reality, and that is, the
spiritual reality of human beings.
Up until now the human science of economics has
recognized the physical and the intellectual reality of human beings but at
that point it stops. True science, however, continually advances into the
unknown using valid scientific methodology.
